daylight

I'm finally starting to get back into some sort of a routine. I get about 2.5 miles inside the subdivision which will come in handy when I am forced to run after dark. Unfortunately, my GPS battery died mid run so I don't have accurate data for my evening run. Oh well, I'm off to enjoy a quiet evening putting away laundry and maybe a glass or two of cheap wine.

Walking This Highway

The last few weeks have been really busy. Between moving and traveling I haven't had any time or energy for running or biking. My race is at the end of April so I should be able to run 5K in that time. I did manage to get a very quick 10 mile bike ride Sunday on Highway 212. Moving further away from the city was a great decision. I can actually ride my bike and have to carry a pistol and extra ammo for those road rage crazy butt holes in the city. Most Atlanta drivers are from the other parts of the country and come to Georgia because they are wanted by the police or the local STD clinic in their home town. I know that immigration is the current hot issue but we should consider banning whoring Yanks from the south or at least not let them drive.

We have a new addition to the family and I am officially no longer the family pet. The new cat is named Stubs because most of his tail is missing. I suspect he didn’t get out of the way of a door fast enough and lost a piece of tail. Call me country, but I am not accustomed to having animals around that I have no intention of eating.
